Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on decal sheet from the Mark I brand with white tactical numbers for the Soviet Lavochkin La-5 and La-7 fighters in 1:144 scale. It is not a kit nor a part of a model - it is a set of markings with which you complete a model built from another box, or with which you replace the original decals if they have already yellowed or cracked.
The La-5 came about by reworking the wooden LaGG-3 for a Shvetsov ASh-82 radial engine and became one of the key Soviet fighters of the second half of the war. The La-7 that followed had cleaned-up aerodynamics and a better rate of climb and was among the most capable Soviet fighters of 1945. Large white tactical numbers on the fuselage were common on both types and form a prominent recognition feature on a model.
First spray the area where the number is to go with gloss clear varnish - on a smooth gloss base the decal settles without silvering. Cut the decal out as close as possible, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it starts to slide freely off the paper. Settle it with a soft brush, blot the excess water away and draw it over rivets and into the engraved lines with a decal softener. Once it has dried through, seal the whole area with varnish in the degree of gloss you choose, so that the edges of the carrier film disappear.
This is a decal set, not a model. The kit, paints, varnish and decal softener are not included in the package.
