Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the MiG-21 in the Chinese F-7II version in the small 1:144 scale from Trumpeter. The box holds plastic sprues including clear parts and decals for Chinese machines. The small scale makes the model a quick build for a collection of jet fighters; the kit suits modelers with basic as well as more advanced experience.
The MiG-21 was one of the most widespread supersonic fighters in history, recognizable by its delta wing and the circular air intake in the nose. China built its own licensed versions under the designation J-7, and F-7 in the export version. The F-7II was an early Chinese production version. These machines served with the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) and with a number of foreign operators for decades.
In the small 1:144 scale, sand the seams on the fuselage and the air intake carefully, as small irregularities show up in a miniature. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, glue the clear canopy with canopy glue and mask it beforehand. An airbrush and a light primer work well for even shades. A fine wash brings out the panel lines, and the landing gear legs are finished off with small details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
