This is a precisely turned metal accessory from the Polish brand MASTER, not a separate model. The set changes the look of the nose and of the main armament of a MiG-15 miniature by replacing the coarse plastic castings with fine brass parts with a high resolution of detail.

What the set contains and what it is for

The package is made up of three turned cannon barrels (one of 37 mm caliber and two of 23 mm), an antenna base and a Pitot tube. The muzzles of all the barrels are drilled out and the cooling holes on the 37 mm barrel are milled, so even in a small scale the armament looks faithful. The accessory is meant for plastic models of the MiG-15 in 1:144 scale.

Fitting and tips

• Cut the original plastic parts off and predrill a hole of the matching diameter at the seating.
• Glue the brass parts exclusively with cyanoacrylate; plastic cement does not hold on metal.
• Hold the small parts with tweezers; the tip of the Pitot tube is delicate and bends easily.
• Degrease the metal before painting and, if needed, go over it with a primer for better adhesion.
