A clear vacuum-formed canopy for models of the Su-27 Flanker in 1:144 scale from Brengun. It is not an airplane model but a transparent accessory in its own right that replaces the thicker canopy from the kit. The set is intended for the Trumpeter kit.
The Su-27 has a large hinged cockpit canopy. The vacuum-formed part is thinner and clearer than the injection-molded canopy and lets you model it in the open position so that the cockpit stands out.
Cut the canopy out with a margin, sand the edges and glue it with a clear canopy glue or with the smallest possible amount of cyanoacrylate glue. Mask the frames and spray them with an airbrush.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
