A decal sheet in 1:144 scale with markings for the supersonic bomber Convair B-58 Hustler of the US Air Force.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Convair B-58 Hustler was the first American bomber able to fly supersonically throughout a combat mission. It has a delta wing, a slender fuselage with a markedly waisted center section and four jet engines hung in separate nacelles under the wing. The crew of three sat one behind the other in separate cockpits, each in his own, and the load was not carried in a bomb bay in the fuselage but in a large jettisonable pod slung under it. The machine served with the US Air Force in the 1960s and even after withdrawal remained one of the most remarkable aircraft of its day.
Water-slide decals in 1:144 scale with markings for B-58 machines of the US Air Force. The sheet supplements or replaces the markings enclosed with a kit.
In a small scale the features are tiny and are handled only with tweezers and a damp brush. The surface has to be smooth and glossy. Cut the feature out as closely as possible, soak it and let it rest for a while, until it starts to slide freely on the paper. Move it into place along with a little water underneath, line it up and blot the excess water away with a soft cloth from the center to the edges. Over edges and curved transitions a decal softener helps; once it is dry, spray the model with varnish.
For modelers who collect large aircraft in a small scale and want their markings crisp. The kit, paints, varnish and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
