Duks in Royal Serbian Air Force is a book title from the Polish publisher Kagero that belongs among aviation literature. It is a printed publication, not a kit and not an accessory for a model.
The Royal Serbian Air Force is among the oldest military flying services of all — it came about even before the First World War, and its machines came predominantly from foreign production. The name Duks belonged to an aircraft maker of the early twentieth century. According to its name the publication is devoted to exactly this chapter of early military aviation; which particular types it describes should be checked in its table of contents.
Early aircraft with a wooden frame and fabric covering are built in an entirely different way from the later all-metal machines. What counts with them is fine rigging and struts, the translucency of the covering against the light and a restrained, barely colorful finish. Documentation of the period tends to be rare, so a picture publication is often the only sensible background for a faithful build and for unusual markings.
This is a printed publication, not a model. Check the extent and the language of the edition in the imprint of the publication.
