The stalker is a figure from the game world of the Stalker series, set in the closed zone around Chernobyl. People go into the zone on their own account and everyone puts their gear together from whatever they can get hold of, so a military item and a civilian rag stand side by side on one figure. For the modeler this is an advantage: the real subject has no prescribed uniform or coloring, and nobody will hold it against you that the shade of the coat does not match regulations.
The 1:16 scale is a noticeably larger format than the usual military figures. The face is of a size that can really be worked on: the eyes, the beard, the transitions on the cheeks and the wear of the clothing can be shaded with a brush rather than merely suggested with a dot. The finished figure is therefore placed on its own in a display case, where nothing overpowers it, and only seldom in a diorama.
For modelers who want to take a figure through to the last detail and like real subjects outside the usual military range. A figure is supplied. Paints, glue and a base are not included, unless stated otherwise.
