Czechoslovak helmet vz. 32 1:35 is a set of resin (3D printed) Czechoslovak helmets for figures and dioramas. An accessory, not a model in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin helmets made by 3D printing, representing the Czechoslovak vz. 32 steel helmet in 1:35 scale. The accessory from the Czech manufacturer Firma49 serves to fit out figures and to bring dioramas to life. It is not a model of a vehicle but a detailing accessory for the most common diorama scale.
The vz. 32 helmet was the standard steel helmet of the Czechoslovak army, introduced in 1932. It was in use until the occupation of the republic in 1939 and was then taken over by a number of other services. In shape it follows the Central European helmets of the period, with a slightly lowered shell and a short brim.
Separate the helmets from the print supports; it is a good idea to dip the resin briefly in hot water before trimming, so that it softens. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Wash the parts and apply a primer before painting. A flat khaki to gray-green color suits them, and a wash brings out the patina in the recesses.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin parts. The paints, the glue and figures are not included in the package.
