The sixth volume in the range of stencils from MH models carries on the selection of German divisional insignia for models of vehicles in 1:16 scale. The stencil is intended for spraying, so the markings are created in paint and become a natural part of the surface of the model.

How to use the mask

The insignia is usually applied onto finished camouflage. The surface has to be perfectly dry, or it will be damaged when the stencil is lifted off. Choose a paint that will hold on the camouflage and apply it in thin coats. After the stencil has been lifted off and the paint has cured, weathering follows: dust, runs and scuffing settle the insignia into the whole and the difference between new marking and old paint disappears. If the camouflage is multi-colored, bear in mind that the insignia will come out differently on a light and on a dark area. An opaque shade and thin coats therefore help to keep the result uniform.
