The type 3 variant from the resin range of front wheels for the German armored half-track. It differs from the other renditions in the tread pattern on the tire, and the set also includes a spare wheel and a rim. The contact patch is modeled weighted, that is, with a sag where the tire meets the ground.
German armored half-tracks were built over a long period and at several plants, so during the war several kinds of tire with a different pattern appeared on them. The difference is clearly visible precisely in the large scale, where you can study the tire from a meter away. Vehicles also commonly ran with wheels of various origins, because they were changed according to what was at hand, so a collector can combine the individual renditions and give the model a field authenticity. For service on the Eastern Front and in Africa such variety is documented by period photographs.
After washing and drying, cut off the casting blocks and level the surface; do not inhale the resin dust. Glue the wheel on with cyanoacrylate glue so that the sagged part faces the ground, or the whole point of the weighted contact patch disappears. Choose a paint closer to dark gray than to pure black, soften the rubber with a very fine dry brush and finally add dust and mud to match the setting the model will stand in.
The package holds only unpainted castings, and you will not find paints or glue in it, unless stated otherwise.
