A plastic kit figure of a German infantryman of the Second World War in 1:16 scale from the Tamiya figure range. He is modeled in a two-sided (reversible) winter uniform, one side of which is white for camouflage in snow. The figure comes with a submachine gun and field equipment, so it fits in perfectly with vehicles and dioramas in the same scale.
The reversible winter uniform was used by German infantry in winter conditions, where the white side made it easier to blend into a snow-covered landscape while the other side served in more ordinary terrain. The figure shows an infantryman with a small arm and accessories such as a magazine pouch, an entrenching tool and a gas mask case.
Glue the parts with liquid polystyrene cement and sand the joints once they have dried. For the best result apply a primer and spray with an airbrush; the face and the folds of the cloth will stand out after darker washes and drybrushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
