A set of seatbelts for Italian fighter aircraft of the Second World War in 1:72 scale. The extent of the set and the fitting procedure are given by the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
Seatbelts are a small thing that even a viewer who cannot otherwise tell the type apart notices on a finished model. A seat without them comes across as empty, whereas belts draped over its edge give the cockpit life and scale. In 1:72 scale the cockpit is small, but as soon as you leave the canopy slid back or open, it becomes the place everyone looks into first.
The set aims at Italian fighter aircraft of the Second World War. This group includes the Fiat CR.42 biplane, the Fiat G.50 monoplane, the Macchi C.200, C.202 and C.205 series and the Reggiane machines. Which of them the set covers and which kits the belts are cut for are given by the manufacturer's instructions; follow them for the fitting itself as well.
Try the belts dry first and only then reach for the glue, because a part once settled cannot be rearranged in a small cockpit. Handle them with smooth-jawed tweezers and take the individual parts one at a time, so that the others do not roll away. Paint the seat and the belts separately before fitting, as once they are glued in you cannot reach the mating surfaces. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. The belts look most natural when they do not hang symmetrically on both sides of the seat but each one differently; the exact procedure is given by the manufacturer's instructions.
What is supplied is the set on its own. The kit, glue and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
