This item is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory for one. It is resin main landing gear wheels for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 in 1:48 scale in the early guise, with a stamped disc and a tire size of 650 x 150 mm. A stamped disc is a feature of shape by which the wheel differs from the version with a bolted disc - on a finished model it is a clearly visible difference.
A casting is made in one piece, so there is no sanding away of the parting line around the whole circumference of the tire, during which the tread pattern is often damaged as well. The detail of the sidewall, of the lettering and of the disc tends to be sharper than on a production injection-molded part. On the Bf 109, moreover, the type of wheel changed during production, so correctly chosen wheels move a model closer to the particular machine you are building.
Before building, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, so that they are rid of the mold release agent. Cut the casting block off with a modeling saw, never snap it off, and level the mating surface with a file. Sanding is done wet and with respiratory protection; resin dust is very fine. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting, as paint is otherwise easily rubbed off smooth resin. Paint the tire dark gray, not pure black, and mask the disc with a template or with a circle punched from adhesive tape.
