This item is a collector's model, not a kit. It is a finished model: it does not need gluing or painting. It represents a heavy construction dumper in an orange finish and in 1:87 scale. The manufacturer is the GAUMISHANG brand.
The 1:87 scale is the H0 standard of railway modeling and in Europe it is the most widespread size of all. That makes the model an interesting addition not only to a display case but also to a layout and to construction dioramas, where it can stand beside trucks, cranes and buildings of the same size. A layout with a goods yard, a quarry or a building site needs heavy equipment, and in this scale there is no surplus of it.
Heavy dumpers of this kind are used in open-cast mines, quarries and on large building sites to carry spoil and bulk materials. They are characterized by a robust frame, very large tires, a high-set driver's cab and a tipping body. The bright signal color on construction equipment is no accident: the machine has to be visible on a site from a long way off.
