A modeling paint in a light aluminum shade named White Aluminium. Intended for painting models in any scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The shade carries the name White Aluminium, that is a light aluminum tone. It comes into its own wherever the surface of a model is meant to look like light bare metal: on the airframe surfaces of aircraft without a camouflage finish, on cowlings, on panels and on other parts that stand apart from their surroundings by exactly that lighter metallic tone. The shade does not depend on the scale, so one bottle serves a small model and a large one alike.
Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging and use a thinner intended for this range. Stir the contents of the bottle thoroughly before work so that the pigment settled at the bottom is spread through the whole volume, and stir again during a longer session. Apply in thin coats and let each one dry before you lay down the next.
Light metallic tones forgive nothing: every unevenness, scratch and unsanded joint stands out under them. So sand the surface carefully, wash and degrease the model and use a smooth primer coat. You can play adjacent panels off against each other with barely different metallic shades, and the surface then stops looking like one sprayed piece. Apply masking tape only to a fully dried coat, lift it slowly at a sharp angle and take some of the tack off it on the back of your hand before sticking it down. After work, wipe the rim of the bottle and close it carefully, otherwise the cap will dry shut in time.
The thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
