This is not a car model but a detail set. It holds four shock absorbers with springs and turned metal parts. They replace the simplified plastic shock absorbers on models of single-seaters, road cars, sports cars and rally cars and give the suspension a realistic look.
The shock absorbers are among the visible parts of the wheel suspension. The metal version with a spring looks more convincing and stands up better to handling the model.
Clean up the metal parts, degrease them and glue them with super glue. Paint the springs and the bodies of the shock absorbers separately for better contrast; try the assembly dry before gluing.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
