An aftermarket detail accessory from the Top Studio label, not a standalone kit. The package contains photo-etched metal parts (weld line) for a faithful imitation of weld beads and joints on models in 1:20 to 1:24 scale.
The photo-etched strips are applied to the frame, the exhaust headers, the tanks and other places where a weld is visible in reality. They replace a hand-formed weld and bring fine, repeatable detail. The 1:20 to 1:24 range of scales matches typical Formula 1 models and collector cars alike.
Cut the parts from the fret, lay them on the joint and fix them with super glue. Once dry, the transition can be brought out with paint or weathering so that the weld looks metallic and used.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone kit; a matching base model is needed to use it. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
