This is not a kit but a detail accessory. The set combines metal, resin and photo-etched parts and replaces the brake system and the center wheel nuts on the Tamiya F1-2000 and F2001 kits in 1:20 scale. A sheet of water-slide decals is usually included.
Detailed discs, calipers and wheel nuts bring the model far closer to the real racing machinery than the standard plastic parts. The combination of materials gives both fine detail and strength.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin, degrease the metal, and nip the photo-etched parts out and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply the decals over a smooth clear coat; the metal surfaces are finished off with metallic paint.
The accessory serves to rework a model; the model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
