This is not a model of the car but a detail set. It holds turned metal air funnels for models of the McLaren MP4/5 and MP4/5B single-seaters. The package holds ten pieces, which replace the simplified plastic parts and give the engine bay a convincing look.
The air funnels on top of the engine are a prominent detail on an open single-seater. The metal version looks more faithful and holds a uniform shape and shine better.
Degrease the metal parts and glue them with super glue. The inside of the funnels can be accented with a dark shade for a sense of depth; try the layout dry before gluing.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
