The real subject

The Fiat 131 Abarth is the competition version of the Fiat 131 family sedan, which the Abarth marque prepared for competition use. From the production car it is told apart easily: it has widened fenders, different bumpers, a spoiler at the rear and a lightened body. It is driven by a four-cylinder with two camshafts in the head and the power goes to the rear wheels. In the rallies of the 1980s it belonged among the classic rear-wheel-drive cars that were still raced before the arrival of the all-wheel-drive machines.

What the sheet offers

Application tips

Before the work, verify in the instructions whether the elements are self-adhesive or waterslide decals; soaking would ruin a self-adhesive film. Let the varnish under the markings mature and polish it to a gloss, because on a flat base the edges of the film show through. Cut the elements off close to the artwork, seat them in place and press the air out with a soft cloth from the center toward the edges. At the end go over the whole body with varnish in the required degree of sheen.
