Modeling Brush HG II Pointed Brush (Small)

Tamiya Modeling Brush HG II – pointed brush, size Small

A premium round pointed brush from the Tamiya High Grade II line. Unlike ordinary brushes its hair is made of durable synthetic PBT fiber, which holds a sharp point and releases paint smoothly. Pointed Small means a fine pointed brush in a small size – exactly for detail work where a dependable point is needed: the eyes and faces of figures, small lettering, precise lines and dots.

Use

• Demanding detail painting of figures – eyes, faces, fine transitions.
• Precise lines, dots and spots on models.
• Touch-ups and filling in small areas.
• Acrylic, enamel and lacquer paints (the hair is resistant to thinners).

Who it is for

For advanced modelers and figure painters who know why a premium brush is worth having. The High Grade II line is a different quality class from ordinary brushes: the excellent point holds its shape even after long work and releases paint evenly where an ordinary brush fails. The handle is made of a material resistant to thinners and has a stop against rolling. Ordinary brushes have their place for everyday work – the Tamiya HG II is for the most demanding detail.

Care: wash the brush out immediately after work (acrylics with water, enamels and lacquers with thinner), do not let paint dry at the ferrule and dry it point up or lying flat, never point down – it would be deformed. Paints and thinners are not included in the package.
