AH-1Z - 3D colored interior 1:35

A set of colored 3D decals from Quinta Studio for raising the level of detail in the interior of the American AH-1Z attack helicopter in 1:35 scale. The elements are printed on a flexible film, carry a raised relief and are applied as a wet decal: after about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water they slide off the backing paper. They have no adhesive layer of their own; they hold on gloss varnish (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22). These are not photo-etched or resin parts. This smaller version holds the basic set of elements for the cockpit. The set is intended for models of the AH-1Z helicopter in this scale. It follows the dimensions of the Academy kit.

What the set contains and what it is for

The instrument panels, the side consoles and the other interior panels are reproduced with faithful colors, lettering and a raised relief on the controls. Thanks to the flexible film the decals settle even on intricate and slightly curved surfaces, where a drop of gloss varnish helps adhesion, and they create the impression of three-dimensional equipment in the cockpit without laborious painting.

Use

• Clean and degrease the interior surfaces of the model and go over them with gloss varnish
• Dip the element in lukewarm water for fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper onto the right panel
• Fine-tune the position while the element still slides; on intricate spots a drop of cyanoacrylate glue helps
• Suitable for more advanced modelers with experience in detailing
