This item is neither a figure nor a model in its own right. It is an accessory set of parts from Bandai's system of kits that snap together and have the parts already in the color of the plastic. According to the name it holds hand parts and multi-purpose joints, that is exactly the elements with which robot kits are reworked into poses of your own, rearmed and linked with further accessories.
Hand parts widen the range of grips: you need one hand for a weapon, another for an open palm or for a clenched fist in a dynamic pose. The joint parts then work as connectors, making it possible to add armament, rebuild the structure of the limbs or link several sets together. It is precisely this modular logic that is the point of the whole range of accessories.
Compatibility is not automatic. Bandai uses standardized connectors, but not every part fits every kit, so compare what connection your model has before buying. The parts need neither gluing nor painting; even so it pays to nip them off with sharp nippers a little away from the part and to trim the remaining sprue gate with a knife, as a white burr shows on a colored surface. Anyone who wants to go further can spray the parts, but the plastic benefits from degreasing and a thin primer.
