Paint Set - Hammer Legion

Green Stuff World Paint Set - Hammer Legion

A themed set of Green Stuff World acrylic paints. The name points to a legion, that is, to a numerous fighting unit, and the way it is used matches that: the set is built so that a whole army can be painted from it in the same scheme, not one display figure. The acrylic binder means thinning and cleaning with water.

Painting an army is a different discipline

On a single figure you can afford to find your way as you go. With twenty models or more, repeatability decides. It pays to keep a fixed order of steps, to paint in batches with the same color across all the models at once and to resist the temptation to improve individual pieces. A matched set helps with this approach, because the shades follow on from one another and you do not have to look for what suits the previous layer at every step.

Use

• Shake before use, the pigment in the bottle settles at the bottom
• Lay the base coat with an airbrush across the whole batch of models at once
• Keep one order of steps, or the shades will drift apart between pieces
• A wash and edge highlighting will do most of the work in a fraction of the time
• Thin the paint for the airbrush; undiluted brush acrylic clogs the nozzle

Who the set is for

For players of figure games and army painters who need a matched scheme for a large number of models and want to get them to gaming standard in a reasonable time. It can also be used on terrain and bases so that the whole collection keeps a uniform look.

Keep out of the reach of children. When spraying, work in a ventilated space and protect your airways. The particular composition of shades is given on the box of the set.
