1:144 Boeing 757-200 PW2037 Landing Configuration is an accessory set of the LACI brand for building a model of the Boeing 757-200 in landing configuration. It is not a kit of an aircraft.

A set of the LACI brand is intended for a model of the Boeing 757-200 narrow-body airliner in 1:144 scale in the variant with Pratt and Whitney PW2037 engines. It makes it possible to build the model in landing configuration, that is, with the high-lift devices extended, as the aircraft looks on approach to the runway. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory: the corresponding parts of the plastic pieces are cut out and replaced by the parts from the set.
The Boeing 757 was a narrow-body aircraft for medium routes with unusually powerful engines and a large wing, thanks to which it gained a reputation as a machine with outstanding performance taking off from short runways and from airports at high altitude. Customers chose between Rolls-Royce RB211-535 engines and American Pratt and Whitney engines of the PW2000 line, to which the PW2037 belongs as well. The nacelles of the two powerplants differ in shape, so the choice of engine is essential on a 757 model for fidelity to a particular carrier. The sizeable landing flaps of the wing extend far rearward on landing and change the silhouette of the aircraft.
First mark the cuts into the plastic parts precisely and make them with a margin, then level the surface with a file. Try the assembly dry repeatedly and watch the symmetry: the flaps of both halves of the wing must be at the same angle, which is best checked by looking from the front. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue in small drops. Lay out the painting in advance, because the extended high-lift devices reveal surfaces that cannot be reached once glued. With civil aircraft it moreover pays to overcoat the transitions between the colors and the decals, so that the edges are not noticeable on a gloss surface.
