A set of the LACI brand is intended for a model of the Boeing 767-300 wide-body airliner in 1:144 scale in the variant with Rolls-Royce RB211-524H engines. With it you will build the model in landing configuration, that is, with the high-lift devices of the wing extended. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for a plastic kit: the corresponding parts of the pieces are cut out and a replacement is seated in their place.
The Boeing 767 is a twin-engine wide-body aircraft that was created alongside the narrow-body 757 and shares the concept of the flight deck with it. The stretched 767-300 version and the long-range 767-300ER became the most widespread variants of the line. The engine options included the American Pratt and Whitney JT9D and PW4000, the General Electric CF6-80 and the British Rolls-Royce RB211-524H, which some European carriers chose. The nacelles of the individual types differ in shape, so the right choice of variant decides the fidelity of a model to a particular airline. The sizeable high-lift devices of the wing extend far beyond the trailing edge on approach.
Mark the cut precisely and make it with a margin to the line, after which you refine the surface with a file. Try the assembly dry and watch the symmetry of both halves of the wing as well as the identical seating of the nacelles, best by looking from the front. Glue the small parts with cyanoacrylate glue in small drops, as classic plastic cement may not be enough for them. Extended flaps reveal surfaces that cannot be reached once glued, so plan the painting in advance. Models of airliners have smooth gloss finishes on which every unevenness shows, so give sanding more time than with military machines.
