1:72 Rolls-Royce Dart 532-7 is a resin add-on set for models of turboprop airliners in 1:72 scale. It is an engine section, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin add-on set aimed at the Rolls-Royce Dart turboprop engine in the 532-7 version in 1:72 scale. It serves to improve a model of an airliner on which the engine nacelle is usually only hinted at in plastic. The shape accuracy of the casting makes it possible to capture the characteristic outline of the engine casing, the air intake and the exhaust, which on turboprop types is the most conspicuous identifying feature. It is not an aircraft kit but a part you use while building one.
The Rolls-Royce Dart was one of the first commercially successful turboprop engines in the world. It powered the airliners of the 1950s and 1960s, among them the Vickers Viscount, the Fokker F27 Friendship and the Hawker Siddeley 748, and the individual forms differed in power, in the gearbox and in the arrangement of the exhaust. The designation 532 belongs to the later, more powerful variants. It is exactly the differences between the individual versions that are the reason why engine sets are made to address one of them, and why it pays off to check which version your model needs.
Wash the resin parts in warm water with detergent first, so that the remains of the mold release agent are removed, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw, even the surface out and protect your airways when sanding. Bonding is done exclusively with super glue. The plastic nacelle part will most likely need to be modified or partly removed, so work in small steps and keep testing the seating. The metal surfaces of the engine stand out with shades for metal and a fine wash, and the exhaust areas with heat discoloration.
