This is a standalone accessory set in polymer resin in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It is not a vehicle model but a detail part that adds a faithfully shaped canvas cover with folds and stitching to a kit of the legendary American four-wheel-drive utility vehicle. The casting captures the soft sag of the fabric, which is hard to imitate with the plastic parts from the box.
The canvas cover closes off the vehicle's interior and gives a scene the impression of a loaded or parked vehicle. The Willys was the most widespread Allied light utility vehicle during the Second World War and after it, and the canvas cover is one of its typical features. The part is intended for building dioramas as well as stand-alone models where you want to raise the degree of realism.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent to remove mold release agent residue. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Lay down primer before painting; the fabric surface comes out well with dry-brushing and folds picked out with a dark wash.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
