An injection-molded plastic kit of the racing version of the British supercar Jaguar XJ220 in 1:24 scale from the firm Italeri. The model faithfully captures the aerodynamic body and the mechanicals of the racing execution; the length of the finished model is approximately 200 mm. The package holds decals, chrome-plated parts and rubber tires.
The Jaguar XJ220 was presented in 1991 and produced from 1992. It was powered by a turbocharged six-cylinder engine placed in the middle and in the years 1992 to 1994 it held the speed record among production cars with a top speed of around 350 km/h. From 1993 the racing specification of the car appeared on the circuits as well, including endurance races.
Cut the parts off the sprues and glue them with a glue for plastic. The body is best sprayed with an airbrush and covered with a gloss varnish, so that the look of a racing car stands out; glue the chrome-plated parts and the glazing with a glue that leaves no clouding.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
