The Green designation in the name tells this release from the two other color versions of the same kit, which the manufacturer issues alongside it. The number in the name refers to the model year of the real car, that is 2011.
The Lamborghini Aventador was introduced in 2011 as the successor to the Murcielago and became the new flagship of the marque from Sant'Agata Bolognese. In its initial LP 700-4 form it combines a naturally aspirated twelve-cylinder mounted longitudinally ahead of the rear axle with permanent all-wheel drive, which is exactly what the LP 700-4 designation describes. The load-bearing structure is formed by a carbon monocoque to which aluminum front and rear frames are attached, and the car kept the typical scissor doors. The sharply cut body with a wedge profile and a low-set nose follows on from the shape language of the Lamborghini marque of the previous decades and is the main reason why the Aventador is so popular with modelers.
With supercars the quality of the finish decides more than with any other subject: large smooth surfaces will not forgive even a small unevenness. Carefully rid the body of mold seams, therefore, sand it and give it a base color, and only then spray the covering shade in thin coats. Gloss is best reached by varnishing with a clear coat and then polishing. Finish and paint the interior, the engine bay and the chassis before you close the body up: afterwards you will not get at them. Mask the transparent parts and glue them in right at the very end, so that neither glue nor paint damages them.
