The MG Metro 6R4 is a British Group B competition special. In shape it comes from the small city Metro, but under the short body hides an entirely different car: drive to all the wheels and a V6 mounted behind the crew. Unlike most of its Group B rivals the engine was naturally aspirated, that is without forced induction. From the outside you will recognize the car by the widened fenders and by the large wings at the nose and at the rear. The designation 6R4 sums up its substance: six cylinders, competition use and four driven wheels.
The set is a separate marking sheet in 1:24 scale for the markings of one car, namely in the version of the Austin Rallying team. How many elements the sheet contains, how large they are and which kit it is cut for is stated by the manufacturer in the instructions.
First verify in the instructions whether the elements are self-adhesive or waterslide decals; self-adhesive films are not soaked and water would damage them. Let the paint under the markings mature and go over it with gloss varnish, so that no air stays under the film and its edges are not visible. Cut the elements off close to the artwork and seat them from the center toward the edges. At the end even the finished car out with varnish in the degree of sheen that the body is to have.
