An injection-molded plastic kit of the Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo sports car in 1:24 scale from Tamiya. The model faithfully captures the shape of the body, from the inward-canted doors to the well-worked underside with the exhaust system and separate suspension parts. The interior offers a detailed instrument panel. The finished model is about 190 mm long. It is an unassembled and unpainted kit to be built with cement for plastic.
The Mitsubishi GTO, sold in some countries as the 3000GT, appeared in 1990 as the brand's flagship sports coupe. The top Twin Turbo version drove both the front and the rear wheels and carried a transversely mounted three-liter turbocharged V6 with two turbochargers and an intercooler under the hood, with an output of around 280 horsepower. The car was famous for its wealth of technology, four-wheel steering included.
The body is best sprayed with an airbrush - after a primer apply the color and finally a gloss clear coat, which you can polish out for a factory paint effect. Glue the chrome and clear parts carefully with liquid cement or with cement for clear parts so that they are not fogged. Bring the interior and the engine to life with shading and a light wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
