A resin figure from the South Korean maker DEF Model in the large 1:24 scale. The subject is a modern military mechanic in working dress. These are cast resin parts for more experienced modelers and collectors; the figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The figure is treated factually and with respect, as a contemporary figure of the technical staff. It suits bringing a workshop or garage scene with modern armored vehicles to life, and in the large 1:24 scale the detail of the face, the hands and the working clothes comes out well.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and true the joints up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and fill the seams. Apply a primer before painting, build the skin up by layering acrylics or oils, and finish the working dress with a dry brush and accentuated folds. Use respiratory protection when sanding resin.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
