A plastic kit of the Japanese Nissan Skyline GTS-R sedan of the R31 generation in 1:24 scale, in the modified form with over fenders. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Nissan Skyline of the R31 generation is an angular Japanese sedan from the second half of the 1980s and among modelers it is a rewarding subject precisely because of its sober, sharply cut body. The sporting GTS-R form stands at the top of the range. The variant offered captures the car in its modified form with over fenders, which make it possible to fit wider wheels and to move them out toward the outline of the body.
This is a kit of plastic parts in 1:24 scale, intended to be glued and painted. The parts are separated from the carrier sprues with nippers and the remains of the gates are leveled with a file or fine abrasive paper. The over fenders belong to the form the name gives. The exact list of parts, recommended shades and marking options is in the instructions the manufacturer encloses with the kit.
Wash and degrease the body before varnishing, so that the paint holds. Apply the finish in several thin coats and let them dry properly; with gloss shades it is worth sanding the surface lightly between coats and polishing it at the end. Dry-fit the fenders, the wheels and the chassis before gluing, so that their relative position is right and the car stands straight on all four wheels.
The set will please builders of Japanese cars of the 1980s and collectors of modified versions with a more pronounced silhouette. In the package there are the parts of the kit; paints, glue and tools are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
