An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Aoshima from The Tuned Car series. It captures the modified (RS Mach) form of the Honda Beat roadster from 1991. The package contains clear parts for the windows and the lights, chrome-plated parts, rubber tires and a decal sheet for the details and the window frames. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Honda Beat is a two-seat kei class convertible built from 1991. It is powered by an engine placed ahead of the rear axle and belongs among the iconic Japanese small sports cars of the 1990s. The tuned version adds a front spoiler, a fixed roof, a modified exhaust and lightened wheels.
Use a liquid modeling cement on the plastic parts, treat the body with a filler primer and spray it with an airbrush. For a faithful look reach for a gloss varnish, and glue the chrome and the clear parts with a glue for clear parts. Bring out the body seams and the chassis with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
