A set of nineteen-inch wheel discs in a racing spirit together with tires.
Responsibility details are not available.
An assembly of a disc and a tire shortens the road to a finished chassis. There is no hunting for shoes that would fit the given diameter, and no risk either of two parts from different sources coming together with a gap left between them. A diameter of nineteen inches corresponds after conversion to about twenty millimeters, which on a passenger car in 1:24 is a respectable portion.
A large wheel changes the proportions of the whole car. The optical height above the wheel drops, the body begins to come across as lower and heavier and the car seems to lean into the roadway. Anyone who wants to have this effect should count on the series seating of the axle tending to be built for a smaller size, and on the usefulness of trying the wheel in the arch before building the interior, while the chassis can still be reached from all sides.
Arms seated close to the outer face leave a deep space behind them. When you look into it at an angle, you will see the wall of the barrel along its whole length, and with it everything that stands behind the wheel. From this comes the recommendation to obtain or make a brake disc, because emptiness behind the arms is conspicuous on a wheel shaped this way.
Apply the paint to the disc before putting the tire on and allow it time. Then put the tire on gradually around the circumference, so that it is not stretched anywhere.
When you come to stand the car on a surface, check whether all four wheels reach it at the same time. With larger diameters an unevenness shows as a rocking that is harder to remove afterward than with small wheels with a pliable side.
