This is a set of photo-etched Sabelt racing seat belts with a four-point mounting, finished in black. It is not a kit and it is not a whole interior, but a fine accessory with which you bring the cockpit of a car model in 1:24 scale to life. The parts are printed in color at the factory, so they faithfully imitate the straps, the fittings, the buckles and the adjusters with no painting by hand needed.
Sabelt is a respected manufacturer of racing restraint systems used in circuit and rally cars alike. Four-point belts hold the driver across the shoulders and the pelvis and are typical of sports and modified road cars. The model thereby gains a realistic seat detail that an ordinary kit lacks.
Separate the parts gently from the fret and shape them by bending them over an edge so that the straps drape naturally over the seat. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue applied in a small quantity, or with glue made for photo-etch. The color layer is delicate, so avoid aggressive thinners.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. The base model and the glue are not included in the package.
