This is a set of photo-etched Sabelt racing safety belts with a six-point mounting in a blue finish. It is not a kit or a complete interior but a fine accessory for faithfully completing the cockpit of a car model in 1:24 scale. The parts are color-printed at the factory, so they imitate the straps, the fittings and the buckles without any need for hand painting.
Sabelt is among the leading brands of racing restraint systems. Compared with a four-point harness, a six-point one adds two anti-submarine straps and is used in circuit and sports cars with a higher demand on holding the driver in place. On a model it makes a conspicuous and realistic element of the seat.
Separate the straps carefully from the fret and shape them by bending over an edge so that they drape naturally over the bucket seat. Glue them with a small amount of super glue or with glue for photo-etched parts. The printed layer does not tolerate aggressive thinners, so handle them carefully around the belts.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. The base model and glue are not included in the package.
