Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the Japanese Toyota Chaser car in the trim level that the name gives, completed with strong period conversions. According to the numbering this is the third part of the edition from Aoshima.
The Chaser came about as the more sportingly tuned sibling of this marque's wider model family and was offered also in a hardtop body without a fixed center pillar. Angular shapes, a long hood and a low roofline made it a rewarding basis of the period tuning scene, which added wide flares, a low-set chassis and conspicuous exhaust tips to cars. The classic arrangement with a driven rear axle keeps this range in collectors' interest to this day. Windows without a fixed pillar moreover give the profile an airiness that it pays to support with perfectly clean glazing.
An angular body suits sharp edges, so when sanding filler back a sanding paper on a hard plate, so that the corners are not rounded. With a lowered stance try the clearance of the wheels dry while the chassis can still be moved. Accentuate the exhaust and the window surrounds with a polished metallic paint applied only after the finish has dried; on a fresh surface it would bleed.
The package contains an unassembled model without a coat.
