This is a plastic kit of a passenger car in 1:24 scale, that is in the size most widespread for cars. A finished model comes out at roughly twenty centimeters, which is enough room for an elaborate interior and for detail on the chassis, and yet the result fits into an ordinary display case. Kits in this scale are among the rewarding builds and have the backing of a wide range of paints, decals and accessories.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The exact contents of the package, the count of parts and the recommended shades are given in the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with the set. Have ready cement for plastic models, a primer, an opaque color for the body and a gloss varnish; sanding sponges and a polishing compound come in useful too.
With a car kit the surface of the body decides the result more than the number of parts glued. It therefore pays to give the painting the main time and to subordinate the rest of the build to it.
The set is for modelers who build road cars and want to take a model all the way to a glossy body. The assembly itself is straightforward and a less experienced builder will manage it, but the result rests on patient painting. Paints, glue and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
