An injection-molded plastic kit of the first-generation Toyota RAV4 (SXA10 chassis) of the 1994 model year in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Aoshima. The model captures the compact SUV just after its launch and offers a detailed body, interior and chassis to be built and painted. Tires and optional parts allowing the RAV4 L/J variants to be built, as well as masking stickers for the window frames, are usually included.
The Toyota RAV4 of 1994 was a pioneer of the class of compact SUVs derived from passenger cars. It combined elements of an off-road vehicle with the comfort and the handling of a car and started a segment that is enormously popular today.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. Treat the body with surfacer and paint it with an airbrush in thin coats. The enclosed masking stickers make a clean paint job on the window frames easier; leave the clear and the chrome parts for the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
