About product

Quickboost 1:48 Mil Mi-8MT/Mi-17 open service/emergency hatch

A finely cast resin accessory in 1:48 scale for the Mil Mi-8MT/Mi-17 helicopters. It is not a model but a detail part that makes it possible to show the service or emergency hatch in the open position and so reveal the internal structure. It raises the fidelity and the impact of the finished model.

Use

  • Separate the part from the casting block and clean up the cut.
  • Wash it free of mold release agent and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
  • Adjust the opening in the fuselage for the open hatch as needed.

Who the accessory is for

  • Modelers building the Mi-8/Mi-17 helicopters.
  • Anyone interested in showing open service panels.
  • Builders with experience of resin.

This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
