Opaque Colors Putrid Green is a Green Stuff World acrylic paint in a markedly poisonous green for effects and color accents.
Responsibility details are not available.
Putrid Green is a shade from the Opaque Colors acrylic line of the Green Stuff World marque, and as its name already says it does not aim at realistic vegetation. It is an unhealthy, poisonous green, that is a color for places where something is meant to glow, to rot or to read as toxic. In a palette it works differently from ordinary green shades: it is not used over whole areas but in spots, as an accent.
An accent color follows different rules
A saturated green laid over a whole area easily overwhelms a figure and draws attention away from the face and the main surfaces. Accent shades therefore work best in small amounts and in the places the eye is meant to go. The smaller the area, the more striking a shade you can allow yourself.
The paint is meant for figure painters of the fantasy and horror genres and for everyone who builds scenes with a striking color accent. Apply it to the places meant to catch the eye and leave the surrounding surfaces quieter. Stir the contents before work and try the shade on a plastic offcut, so that you know how it behaves beside the neighboring colors.
Keep in a well-closed container out of the reach of children and ventilate while working.
