Pre-painted seat belts of photo-etched steel for Vought F4U-1A and F4U-2 Corsair models in 1:48 scale. The parts are printed in color and self-adhesive; you only separate them from the fret, shape them gently and stick them onto the seat. The steel base holds a bend better than brass, so the belts look realistically slack. The set replaces flat plastic or decal belts and brings the interior to life.
The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier fighter with a characteristic inverted gull wing and a powerful radial engine. The F4U-1A version had an improved view from the cockpit, while the F4U-2 was the night fighter variant with radar. The cockpit used the American harness system that the set reproduces.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, shape them with flat tweezers and make the bends over an edge. The self-adhesive layer is as a rule enough, and a drop of cyanoacrylate can be added in exposed places. No painting is needed, and you only touch up any bare edges.
This is a supplementary set, not a model of an aircraft. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
