The 1:3 M933 Rifle is a finished collector model of a carbine in 1:3 scale from the maker Easy Model. It is supplied assembled and painted, with no need for further work.
Responsibility details are not available.
Easy Model collector models are sold finished. This example therefore needs no glue, filler, primer or paints; once unpacked it is ready for a shelf. The 1:3 scale means roughly a third of the size against the real subject, so the model does not play the part of a small accessory but of a standalone exhibit that takes up room of its own in a display case or on a desk.
The designation M933 belongs to a 5.56 mm carbine of the M16 and AR-15 design family, specifically from the line of short carbines. Against the basic rifle it has a shorter barrel and a telescoping stock, that is a layout aimed at compactness. The upper part of the receiver is made as a rail for mounting optics or additional sights, which is standard on the newer variants of this family. The internal principle of operation stays the same as on the other weapons of the line, and the individual models are told apart mainly by the length of the barrel, the type of handguard and the muzzle end.
On a finished model what decides is the quality of the surface finish and fidelity of shape, not the modeling skills of the buyer. For the model to stay in good condition a few simple rules apply: do not place it in direct sun, because ultraviolet light changes the shade of the colors over time, dust it with a soft brush and do not touch the surface with greasy hands. If you move the model about often, it pays to set aside a place for it where there is no risk of catching small projecting parts.
The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted. It is not a weapon or a functional replica; it is a non-functional model intended for display.
