Black leather is never really black: the acrylic paint Lifecolor Leder Schwarz holds the dark position of equipment and boots so that it stays legible even after aging.
Responsibility details are not available.
The acrylic paint Leder Schwarz carries the German phrase for black leather and is aimed at equipment, belts, holsters and footwear. It complements the brown leather position of the same range, so materials that otherwise merge into one dark area can be told apart on a single figure.
In a reduced scale a pure black swallows every detail and an object turns into a silhouette. A leather black, against that, is somewhat softer and carries a slight brown or gray cast that lets the seams, the buckles and the folds come forward. Service deepens that difference further: on the edges and bends the leather dries out and grays, while the polished places stay deep and dark. A surface thus appears that differs from a uniform black area at a glance and holds its legibility even in a photograph taken close up.
It will be appreciated by modelers of figures with rich kit and by everyone who wants the black parts of a model legible even in a photograph. In a pair with the brown leather position it allows more than one kind of leather to be told apart on one piece.
Stir the paint thoroughly before work. Store it closed, out of the reach of children and out of direct sun.
