A separate 1:72 AV-8B Harrier II canopy from the Geronimo72Art brand. An accessory for a model of the vertical takeoff attack aircraft, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model of an airplane but a separate accessory: a canopy, that is the cover of the pilot's compartment, for the AV-8B Harrier II in 1:72 scale from the Geronimo72Art brand. On the Harrier II the cabin is one of the main recognition features: it sits high and has a bulged shape, so it catches the eye at once on a model. The material and the form of the part are given on the packaging.
The AV-8B Harrier II is an attack aircraft with vertical and short takeoff that arose from a thorough reworking of the original Harrier for the US Marine Corps. It received a new composite wing with a greater area and load, reworked air intakes and above all a higher-set cabin with a bulged canopy, because the pilot of the older version lacked the view precisely when hovering and landing on a small area. It vectors its thrust through the four rotating nozzles of the Pegasus engine. The aircraft operated from the decks of amphibious assault ships and from improvised surfaces in the field, and they saw combat from the Gulf War to Afghanistan.
A bulged canopy does not tolerate unevenness, so look the surface over in sharp light before painting. Finish and paint the interior and the ejection seat before you fit the cabin. Mask the frames with strips of masking, spray the shade of the interior first and only then the outer color. Handle the part by the edges.
