A detail set of landing gear bays (wheel wells) for the Messerschmitt Bf 109G Gustav fighter in 1:32 scale from the manufacturer Aires. The resin accessory replaces the often simplified bays of a plastic kit with faithfully detailed compartments with a structure of ribs, piping and rivets.
The Bf 109G was one of the most widespread German fighter aircraft of the Second World War. The Gustav line was powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine and was built in enormous numbers in many sub-versions.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. The bays come out well after painting in a base shade, a dry emphasis on the edges and a fine wash that underlines the three-dimensional structure.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
