Flexible foam masking inserts (express fit) in 1:32 scale from Art Scale, intended for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4. They cover the landing gear bays quickly and gently while the underside of the fuselage and the wheel bays are being sprayed.

What it is for

This is neither a paint nor a model part, but a masking aid. The soft foam insert is pressed into the landing gear bay and takes on its shape, so paint cannot run inside during airbrushing and the surrounding detail stays protected.

Use

• Fit the insert into the wheel bay before spraying the lower surfaces.
• The springy foam follows the shape without glue and damages neither the relief nor the paint.
• The masks are reusable and hold their shape through several coats.
