A relief color 3D decal for a detailed rendering of the navigator, bombardier and waist and tail gunner sections of the American B-17G Flying Fortress heavy bomber in 1:32 scale. The set is intended for the plastic kit from HK Models and rounds out parts of the fuselage other than the pilot's cabin set. It is neither a model nor a part of one but a color decal detail that takes the place of labor-intensive painting and photo-etched sets.
The Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress was a four-engine American heavy bomber of the Second World War with numerous defensive armament. Inside its long fuselage the crew had a whole string of stations, from the forward cabin of the navigator and bombardier to the waist and tail gunner positions. It is exactly those spaces the set details.
The relief decal carries the color panels, instruments and fittings of the stated sections. It is applied as a wet decal: the element is soaked, slid into place and left to dry. Leave out the softener and the setting solution; both would attack the printed resin. A separate set is meant for the pilot's cabin.
This is an accessory for the stated kit, not a standalone model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
